Job Summary
Perform radiologic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate patient positioning and quality diagnostic images. Administer contrast media within scope of practice while monitoring patients and reporting abnormalities. Follow radiation safety standards and ensure accurate image submission to PACS. Maintain equipment functionality and a clean, safe imaging environment. This rotating PRN role at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, WI, requires BLS certification and specific radiography or sonography credentials.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- General Radiography
- State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
