Radiology Tech 4x10 Day Shift

Job Summary
Produce quality diagnostic medical radiographs, including OR, Fluoro, Dexa, or EOS, under the direction of the Radiology Director and Manager. Perform OR/Surgery cases using C-arms and portable machines efficiently while documenting appropriate patient histories and verifying physician orders. Supervise and teach Radiology students during clinical rotations, providing feedback to the Clinical Educator. Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area, adhere to hospital safety and infection control policies, and practice radiation safety for patients, self, and co-workers. Respond to workload changes, participate in continuing education, and utilize the Radiology Information system to ensure timely report turnaround. Work day shift with 40 scheduled weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Radiology Technology program
- Registry eligible
- Two years Radiology Technology experience
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Ability to stand for and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 100 plus pounds
- Ability to move or transfer patients
- Ability to deal with strenuous and physical activity daily in lifting, pulling, pushing, patients, radiographic equipment cassettes and/or supplies
Desired Qualifications
- Two years Radiology Technology experience
