Job Summary
Direct and coordinate daily department activities, including budget management, personnel oversight, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Act as a liaison between the assigned department and referring physician offices, managing care for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Requires a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine, ultrasonography, radiologic technology, or MRI technology program with certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or equivalent registration. Must hold three or more years of clinical experience and Certified American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support. Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, accredited ultrasonography program, accredited radiologic technology program or accredited MRI technology program
- Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Registration as a MRI Technologist by ARRT or AMRIT
- Registration as a CT Technologist by ARRT
- Three (3) or more years of clinical experience
- Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
