Job Summary
Assist with the review of patient information for radiographic exams and provide lifting assistance while escorting patients to and from Radiology. Work under the direction of a Registered Radiologic Technologist to apply the art and skill of diagnostic imaging through the safe and effective use of ionizing radiation. Monitor patient conditions and inform medical professionals of any changes in care attention. Requires current enrollment in an accredited radiology program with a 2.5 GPA, BLS certification, and a GXMO state limited license. Schedule includes days and evenings with a minimum of $22.02 and maximum of $33.04.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited radiology program
- Has successfully completed one year of school
- Has a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association certification
- GXMO (General X-Ray Machine Operator) state limited license
Desired Qualifications
- BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association certification (to be obtained from an approved source prior to direct patient care)
- GXMO (General X-Ray Machine Operator) state limited license (unless required by the state where the job is being performed)
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training
- Picture archiving communication system (PACS) training
