radiology student tech

Radiology Student Tech role supporting radiographic imaging procedures under standard department guidelines. Responsibilities include positioning patients and equipment, acquiring high-quality radiographic images, maintaining infection control and sanitation between exams, preparing exam rooms and ensuring equipment safety checks, maintaining patient demographics and exam data in EMR/PACS, and assisting with patient comfort and safety. Required skills include strong communication with patients and staff, knowledge of radiology procedures and safety (ALARA principles), ability to learn and operate radiographic equipment, CPR/BLS certification, and documentation accuracy. Preferred qualifications include post-certification radiologic technology experience and ARRT credential maintenance; cross-training into advanced modalities as needed; and proficiency with radiology software and data entry. Work is per diem with day shifts at AdventHealth Littleton in Colorado, with a focus on patient care, imaging quality, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
