Job Summary
Radiology RN provides nursing care for patients undergoing MRI/CT with contrast, manages hypersensitivity reactions, administers medications and interventions per plan of care, performs assessments and data collection, educates patients/families, supports Radiology Nurse Navigator activities, ensures safety, quality assurance, infection control, and collaborates with the radiology team; requires RI RN license and BLS; minimum two years RN experience; radiology experience preferred; on-site at Newport Hospital, 8-hour shifts, 3 days per week with potential for more.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure in Rhode Island or NLC/compact licensure that allows practice in Rhode Island
- BLS certification
- Two years progressive RN clinical experience
- Radiology nursing experience preferred
