Job Summary
Join UVA Health as a fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal Radiologist in the Community division serving multiple facilities in Northern Virginia. Responsibilities include interpreting MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiography studies of the extremities, joints, spine, and pelvis; performing image-guided musculoskeletal procedures (e.g., joint injections, aspirations, biopsies); participating in multidisciplinary case conferences; collaborating with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine, rheumatology, oncologists, and primary care; sharing in division scheduling and occasional center coverage; and contributing to quality improvement, workflow optimization, and patient safety initiatives. Qualifications require an MD or DO, board eligibility/certification in Diagnostic Radiology, MUSC Radiology fellowship, and Virginia licensure eligibility. The role emphasizes a full spectrum of musculoskeletal imaging in a high-quality community setting with academic resources, located in Northern Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Strong clinical skills, collaborative mindset, patient-centered care
