Job Summary
Tele-radiology radiologist needed for locum tenens coverage in a health system in southern Alabama. Responsibilities include reading CT, MRI, and ultrasound body imaging with an estimated daily volume of ~40 cases, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM days, no required call, and flexible weekend schedules. Role involves collaboration with multiple colleagues and reviewing resident charts; may serve as backfill with potential for full-time employment. Practices with Phillips PACS and Powerscribe 360; ~6 weeks credentialing; fellowship-trained candidates preferred; licensing support available.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification Required
- Licensure to practice radiology
- Fellowship-trained preferred
- 6 weeks of credentialing for a clean file
- Licensing support available
- Telehealth/remote coverage acceptable
- Collaboration with multiple colleagues and review of resident charts
- PACS and dictation systems (Phillips PACS, Powerscribe 360)
