Job Summary
Tele-radiology radiologist needed for locum tenens coverage in a clinic setting in the southern Alabama area. Role handles CT, MRI, and ultrasound body imaging with an estimated daily volume of ~40 cases. Flexible coverage up to one week per month with 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and flexible call/weekend schedules. Collaboration with multiple colleagues and resident chart reviews. Site uses Philips PACS and Powerscribe 360 for dictation. ~6 weeks credentialing required; licensing support available. Fellowship-trained candidates preferred; potential for full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Radiology
- MD or DO degree
- Fellowship-trained (preferred)
- Licensing support available
- Telehealth/tele-radiology experience preferred
- PACS and dictation experience (Philips PACS, Powerscribe 360)
- Credentialing approximately 6 weeks
- Ability to cover CT, MRI, and ultrasound body imaging
- Backfill coverage with potential for full-time employment
