Job Summary
Tele-radiology radiologist to cover CT, MRI, and ultrasound body imaging for a locum-tenens assignment. Approximately 40 cases per day with 8-hour daytime shifts (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and flexible call/weekend schedules. The role involves collaboration with multiple colleagues, reviewing resident charts, and may serve as backfill with potential for full-time employment. Requires fellowship-trained candidates (licensing support available). System uses Phillips PACS and Powerscribe 360 for dictation; credentialing ~6 weeks. Location: Rapid City, SD, US; remote telehealth coverage from a health system setting.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification Required
- MD (Doctor of Medicine) or equivalent
- Fellowship-trained preferred
- Licensing support available
- Telehealth/remote radiology experience advantageous
- PACS and dictation system experience (Phillips PACS, Powerscribe 360)
- Credentialing process ~6 weeks
- 8-hour daytime schedule 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Coverage up to one week per month
- Backfill for current providers; potential for full-time employment
