Job Summary
Tele-radiology Radiologist position in southern Alabama for locum tenens coverage covering CT, MRI, and ultrasound body imaging. Approximately 40 cases per day with 8-hour days (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and flexible call/weekend schedules. Collaboration with multiple colleagues and review of resident charts. Potential for full-time employment; credentialing roughly six weeks; Philips PACS and Powerscribe 360 for dictation used. Licensing support available; fellowship-trained candidates preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Radiology
- Licensure/certification requirement (license to practice radiology)
- Credentialing process (approximately 6 weeks)
- Experience with CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and body imaging preferred
- Fellowship-trained candidates preferred
- Telehealth/locum tenens experience beneficial
