Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist handles radiographic procedures across diverse equipment, collaborates with Radiologists, maintains patient records, ensures safety, and communicates about procedures and results. Responsibilities include positioning and adapting techniques, operating electronic imaging equipment (including portable units and C-arm), assessing image quality, maintaining patient and staff safety per standards, performing related duties after hours or as assigned, assisting in contrast administration, documenting patient information, and providing patient and staff education on radiographic procedures and radiation safety. Must hold or obtain ARRT (RT) licensure and BLS; demonstrate age-specific patient care competency and willingness to cross-train and take on evolving departmental responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a RT(R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
