Job Summary
Coordinate and expedite patient movement in the Department of Radiology by establishing rapport with patients, families, and clinical staff. Utilize the EPIC electronic medical system to track patients, prioritize care, and reduce anxieties regarding treatment delays. Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and radiology technologies to prepare patients for imaging exams and resolve patient-related grievances. Function as a liaison to ensure proper documentation, store patient valuables securely, and participate in performance improvement activities and staff meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree with a minimum of two years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office
- Effective oral, written, communication and interpersonal skills
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
