Job Summary
Provide clerical, technical, and clinical operations support to meet customer and departmental needs. Prioritize workflow to ensure patient arrival and departure occur timely while explaining procedures to minimize anxiety. Manipulate imaging equipment to obtain images, adjust cameras for proper density and contrast, and critique image quality to determine if repeats are necessary. Clean examination surfaces, provide clean linen, and immediately address spills following universal precautions. Store accessory equipment properly and maintain sterile fields while adhering to OSHA regulations. Facilitate staff meetings and communicate professionally with physicians, patients, and staff. Travel between campus buildings, remote facilities, and out of town as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communications
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
- Interpersonal skills necessary to provide effective communications and to maintain a wide variety of internal and external cooperative working relationships with physicians, patients, staff, and other employees
- Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs
- Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills
- Attention to detail and ability to write legibly
- Ability to travel between campus buildings, remote facilities, and out of town as needed
