Job Summary
Provide nursing care during radiology imaging exams, including assessment of patient condition, triage and management of contrast reactions, and intervention in emergencies. Collaborate with radiology providers, educate health care professionals and patients, and perform pre/post procedure communications. Requires strong clinical judgment, vital signs monitoring, ability to operate emergency and monitoring equipment, and adherence to safety standards. Full-time schedule Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; CT RN license and ACLS/BLS certifications needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Nursing or related field
- Two year’s experience as a critical care nurse/ambulatory care
- CPR (BLS) certification
- ACLS certification
- Current CT RN state license
