Job Summary
MSK-fellowship trained radiologist faculty position at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. Responsibilities span MSK imaging across imaging modalities, with involvement in interventional procedures (joint injections/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, soft tissue/bone biopsy), clinical and resident education, and potential clinical/translational research. Options include an on-site or hybrid position with some on-site presence at the Loyola main campus for procedures; occasional evening shift and weekend plain film call duties can be fulfilled remotely from home using PACS/voice recognition. Licensure in Illinois required at time of hire; consideration for appointment as Section Chief is possible. Competitive compensation based on academic rank and experience, relocation reimbursement, benefits, CME, and malpractice tail coverage are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Board Eligible in Radiology
- Fellowship trained in musculoskeletal radiology
- Licensed to practice in Illinois at time of hire
- Ability to perform interventional procedures including joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, soft tissue and bone biopsy
- Strong clinical skills across MSK imaging modalities
- Engagement in resident education and potential for clinical/translational research
- Academic appointment with potential for Section Chief consideration
