Job Summary
MRI Technologist responsible for producing quality MR images while ensuring patient safety and applying MRI safety guidelines; participate in ongoing training related to positioning, technique, and MRI safety; maintain a patient-centered focus and support the Radiology Department's mission and values. Required skills include analytical decision-making, strong verbal/written communication, attention to detail, safety consciousness, ability to operate radiographic/ MR equipment, and physical stamina. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and collaboration within a hospital radiology setting, with expected proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and Meditech preferred. The position requires graduation from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program, ARRT credentials in Radiography and MR within 180 days, and BLS upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Radiologic Technology Graduate AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or MR Imaging
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) upon Hire
- Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 180 Days
