Job Summary
The Radiology Medical Assistant I supports radiologic technologists during patient exams by handling clerical and non-technical tasks and aiding in non-exposure aspects of exams. Responsibilities include stocking rooms, assisting patients to and from exam rooms, scheduling exams in the Radiant system, coordinating inpatient arrivals for radiology, transporting patients within the department, and contributing to IV start in some modalities. This is a full-time, night-shift role in a union environment with emphasis on patient flow and collaboration with radiology staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- LNA or comparable medical experience preferred
- verification of high school diploma
