Job Summary
Manage the Imaging Department by delivering exemplary radiology care and ensuring the team provides effective treatment through clinical and managerial leadership. Establish communication protocols for complex topics, develop strategies for service improvement, and determine the effective use of physical and financial resources. Plan, monitor, and quality assure technology application for diagnosis and treatment while overseeing Human Resource activities and managing Healthcare Associated Infection risks. Lead the development of knowledge and work practices across multi-disciplinary teams to promote equality and diversity.
Required Qualifications
- Degree (BSc Hons) or equivalent
- Registered with the Health and Care Professional Council
- Supervisory / Management qualification
- Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient cases
- Experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solution for the service
- Experience of clinical leadership and supervisory experience
