Job Summary
Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of radiologic technologists, sonographers, and support staff while overseeing scheduling for personnel and procedures to optimize workflow. Implement and monitor department quality measures, ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting body regulations, and coordinate training on new equipment, procedures, and safety protocols. Maintain duties as Radiation Safety Officer and collaborate with referring physicians to ensure timely diagnostic services. Work as an active member of the team performing exams in qualified modalities unless fully staffed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Of Science in radiologic technology or related field
- Minimum 1 year supervisory/ management experience
- California certificate in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists license (ARRT)(R), CT license or on-the-job equivalence required
- Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology
- Valid Venipuncture Certificate required within 6 months of hire
- BLS certificate
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field
- Several years of progressive experience in radiology, with demonstrated leadership abilities
- Proven experience and ability to manage a diversified patient care service
- Mammography and/or Magnetic Imaging license preferred
