Radiology Manager (Full Time) - Washington Township

Job Summary
Oversee the General Radiology Department at an assigned campus and geographical territory, with day-to-day oversight of additional modalities. Responsible for efficient patient flow and patient information through Radiology, supervise radiology clerical staff, and lead teams of 10+ employees. Coordinate with scheduling, physician enterprise, and information technology to improve appointment availability and community needs. Drive improvements in patient experience, throughput, wait time, and service quality. Provide leadership to ensure efficient use of resources, train staff, develop quality assurance activities, and support annual operating and capital budgeting. Travel between Jefferson sites may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7 years related experience; previous supervisory/management experience preferred
- Knowledge of imaging techniques, processes and procedures used in diagnostics; ability to produce images of internal body structures for clinical purposes or medical science
- Knowledge of radiology equipment management; ability to procure, maintain, quality check and dispose of medical equipment in compliance with policies
- Coaching Others; knowledge of coaching concepts and methods to motivate individuals or teams
- Staff and Career Development; ability to address learning, training, and career development needs
- Effective Communication; ability to transmit, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs
- Radiology Safety; knowledge of radiation safety regulations and handling
- Radiology Policy and Ethics Compliance; knowledge of laws governing materials storage, handling and disposal as well as ethical behavior
- Office Administration; ability to carry out office tasks for local and remote teams
- Teamwork; ability to work as part of a team
- Quality Management; knowledge of policies and methods to maximize operating room efficiency and productivity
