Job Summary
Plan, organize, and manage daily operations across assigned imaging modalities and locations, overseeing staff scheduling, work distribution, and patient flow. Supervise technologists, nurses, and support personnel by conducting orientations, providing coaching, and managing performance evaluations. Establish policies ensuring compliance with accreditation standards like TJC and ACR while monitoring safety protocols and infection control. Track key performance indicators for productivity and quality, leading continuous improvement initiatives and budgeting efforts. Collaborate with physicians and administrative leaders to align operational priorities and address patient concerns. May travel between operating units and Emory affiliated locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years minimum supervisory experience with at least 5 years in hospital imaging services OR bachelor's degree and three years business experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- clinical background in radiology
