Job Summary
Plan daily operations across imaging modalities including XR, US, CT, MR, and IR while overseeing staff scheduling, work distribution, and patient flow. Supervise technologists and support personnel through orientation, coaching, and performance evaluations, addressing conduct issues per HR policies. Establish and maintain departmental policies ensuring compliance with TJC, ACR, and IAC accreditation standards, while monitoring safety protocols and infection control. Track key performance indicators for productivity and quality, leading continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing resource use for cost-effectiveness. Monitor patient satisfaction data to address concerns and enhance service initiatives. Collaborate with physicians and administrative leaders to align operational priorities and communicate policy updates. May travel between operating units and Emory affiliated locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years minimum supervisory experience with at least 5 years in hospital imaging services OR bachelor's degree and three years business experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- clinical background in radiology
