Job Summary
Assist interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, and other physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic angiography, venography, fistula grams, central line placements, biopsies, drainages, and pain injections. Perform typical duties as a circulator or scrub assist during procedures. Maintain certification as a Washington Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, along with National Registered Technologist credentials in Cardiac-Interventional, Vascular-Interventional, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography within one year of hire. Obtain National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Two-year technical program
- Completion of an approved radiology technologist training program
- Washington Radiologic Technologist
- Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography
- National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography
- National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
