Job Summary
Conduct radiographic and therapeutic vascular procedures using medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Perform services to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation or intervention by licensed practitioners while exercising professional judgment. Respond to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs across all groups. Provide appropriate patient care and recognize conditions essential for successful procedure completion. Maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics throughout daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Diagnostic radiology experience
- Computer entry and word processing
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months Health care setting including, but not limited to, department secretary, admitting, billing or a medical records clerical position
