Job Summary
Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for diagnosis or therapeutic intervention. Assist licensed practitioners in interventional procedures while exercising professional judgment and maintaining a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provide appropriate patient care and respond to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs across all age groups. This role is part of the Cath Lab team at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance, a hospital recognized as one of America's Best-In-State Hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Diagnostic radiology experience
- Computer entry and word processing
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months Health care setting including, but not limited to, department secretary, admitting, billing or a medical records clerical position
