Job Summary
Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and therapeutic intervention. Assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients using medical imaging techniques while exercising professional judgment and maintaining a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Respond to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs across all age groups. Provide appropriate patient care and recognize conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Work full-time day shifts with 40-hour schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Diagnostic radiology experience
- Computer entry and word processing
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months Health care setting including, but not limited to, department secretary, admitting, billing or a medical records clerical position
