Job Summary
Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for diagnosis or therapeutic intervention. Provide appropriate patient care and exercise professional judgment in the performance of services. Respond to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on all age groups. Assist licensed practitioners in interpreting and treating conditions essential for successful procedure completion. Work full-time day shifts in the Cath Lab at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Diagnostic radiology experience
- Computer entry and word processing
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months Health care setting including, but not limited to, department secretary, admitting, billing or a medical records clerical position
