Job Summary
Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and therapeutic intervention by licensed practitioners. Provide appropriate patient care, respond to patient and family needs, and exercise professional judgment in service performance. Maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics while assisting in diagnosis or treatment using medical imaging techniques. Work day shifts in a full-time, 40-hour schedule at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Diagnostic radiology experience
- Computer entry and word processing
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months Health care setting including, but not limited to, department secretary, admitting, billing or a medical records clerical position
