Job Summary
Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for diagnosis or therapeutic intervention by licensed practitioners. Provide appropriate patient care and exercise professional judgment while responding to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs. Assist in the interpretation of imaging results and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics during all procedures. Work full-time day shifts in the Cath Lab at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Diagnostic radiology experience
- Computer entry and word processing
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months Health care setting including, but not limited to, department secretary, admitting, billing or a medical records clerical position
