Job Summary
Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for diagnosis or therapeutic intervention by licensed practitioners. Provide appropriate patient care, exercise professional judgment, and respond to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs. Maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics while assisting in the interpretation of medical imaging techniques. This role requires a California Radiologic Technologist and National Registered Technologist - Radiography, with a National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography credential obtained within one year. Candidates must possess one year of diagnostic radiology experience and a National Provider BLS certification. Full-time day shifts are available at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital, a Newsweek Best-In-State hospital serving the community with a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Diagnostic radiology experience
- Computer entry and word processing

- 6 months Health care setting including, but not limited to, department secretary, admitting, billing or a medical records clerical position
