Job Summary
Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for diagnosis or therapeutic intervention. Provide appropriate patient care and respond to families with knowledge of age-specific needs. Exercise professional judgment in service performance and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Assist licensed practitioners in interpreting and treating patients using medical imaging techniques. Work full-time day shifts at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- California Radiologic Technologist
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 1 year Diagnostic radiology experience
- Computer entry and word processing
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months Health care setting including, but not limited to, department secretary, admitting, billing or a medical records clerical position
