Job Summary
Radiology Intern II performs diagnostic radiology procedures under supervision, ensuring optimal image quality and patient care across age groups, while adhering to patient-care quality standards. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and enrollment in a radiologic technology program; must hold current BLS certification, read and communicate effectively in English, and possess basic computer skills. Duties include manipulating radiology equipment and exposure factors, lifting/moving patients, and maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced imaging environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in second year of nationally accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Certification/Registration: BLS certification
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to manipulate radiology equipment and exposure factors
- Physical ability to lift/move/transport patients and stand/walk for extended periods
