Job Summary
Delivers consistent precise therapy to a designated treatment area by operating radiation-producing equipment and performing complex technical procedures in accordance with physician and physicist prescriptions. Conducts patient assessments for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics while documenting all procedures in the Electronic Medical Record. Participates in Quality Control monitoring, simulates new patients and treatment fields, and advises the manager of equipment discrepancies or required replacements. Performs on-call rotation duties and acts as a clinical instructor for RTT and RTR students. Reports adverse reactions to physicians immediately and complies with all WellStar Health System policies and safety measures.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT-T - ARRT Radiation Therapy
- must be graduate of accredited radiation therapy program
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Experience in Radiation Therapy Preferred
