Job Summary
Supervise all personnel in the Radiology Department to ensure staff competency, acting as a resource for Lead Technologists by providing education, training, and performance reviews. Organize and teach departmental activities while managing capital and operational budgeting, equipment oversight, and financial management. Lead performance improvement activities and ensure compliance with Bureau of Radiation Controls regulations, staffing policies, and all modalities. Requires current ARRT or ARDMS certification, Texas Medical Board certification, and Basic Life Support. Full-time role at OakBend Medical Center's three hospitals and specialty centers, serving the community since 1950.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Certified by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
- Valid Drivers' license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of Bureau of Radiation Controls regulations, staffing, policies and procedures and all modalities
- Ability to supervise and manage day to day operations of the department

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Radiologic Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years' radiologic supervisory experience
