Job Summary
Radiology Diagnostic Tech II at Children’s Hospital of Richmond (rotating). Responsibilities include performing radiographic procedures for patients from newborn to geriatric, administering ionizing radiation safely, and producing diagnostic-quality images for interpretation. Must demonstrate knowledge of imaging protocols, contrast media administration and risk assessment for allergic reactions, review relevant lab values, and provide clear, age-appropriate explanations to patients and families. Role requires post-processing, image display, and transfer for physician review, timely order closure and PACS QA completion, and occasional coverage of open shifts. Requires ARRT certification and BLS, plus completion of orientation; individuals with at least one year of experience can be hired directly.
