Job Summary
Coordinate patient preparation, reminders, scheduling needs, and general questions while reviewing imaging orders to obtain missing or corrected information from physician offices. Retrieve, transfer, and manage outside imaging studies and reports using PACS, supporting mammography reminders, tracking, and MQSA documentation. Facilitate communication among patients, providers, radiologists, technologists, and hospital departments, and provide administrative support including phones, correspondence, scheduling, records, and purchasing. Support quality, regulatory, accreditation, and process improvement initiatives. This full-time role operates first shift for 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience working with electronic health records
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare office, hospital, medical imaging department, or physician practice
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Experience with radiology scheduling, PACS, or imaging workflows
- Proficient computer skills
- Microsoft Office skills
