Job Summary
Perform radiology/CT procedures independently or under physician supervision, following established protocols and anatomical positioning to produce optimum images while prioritizing patient welfare and confidentiality. Maintain current BLS certification and state registration for CT administration, ensuring compliance with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists standards within one year of hire. Provide weekend coverage at Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, Arkansas, supporting the mission of delivering compassionate, accessible care to underserved populations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 1 year of hire
- Certified by the State of Arkansas to practice and administer radiation
- Registered in CT within 1 year of hire unless unable to meet exam requirement, then must meet with manager to make arrangements to fulfill exam requirements
- Current BLS certification upon hire or BLS certification must be obtained during orientation period or at next available scheduled class
- Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty (ies) as appropriate
- One year of experience under a Board Certified Radiologist
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required
