Job Summary
Assist radiologists and coworkers by utilizing the PACS, RIS, and Clario reading system, while troubleshooting and resolving related issues to support imaging workflows. Manage worklist assignments, handle phone communications, and process WET READ results. Maintain working knowledge of radiology records, image archiving, and reporting systems. Requires four years of healthcare experience, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook. Applicants must pass background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Required Qualifications
- four (4) years of experience in healthcare or a relevant industry
- High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
Desired Qualifications
- ability to meet and communicate with public in courteous and professional manner
- demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook
- ability to handle difficult customers or situations
- knowledge of Radiology Information System (RIS), as well as, commonly used computer applications in Radiology and other hospital-based systems
- knowledge of medical terminology
