Job Summary
Specialist radiologist experienced in Breast Imaging and Breast Interventional procedures to work at the Monash BreastScreen assessment clinic at Moorabbin Hospital, reading screening mammograms on-site (7.5 hours per day) with rostered scheduling (weekly or fortnightly). Responsibilities include radiological and clinical management during the clinic, interventional diagnostic procedures, liaison with radiologist colleagues, surgeons, radiographers, nursing, pathology and GPs, timely reading of screening mammograms, data entry, and participation in quality review and accreditation activities to meet BreastScreen Victoria and National Standards. The role includes reporting under supervision and supporting high-quality Breast Imaging Services per Monash Health values, with probity checks and eligibility requirements outlined. Required Qualifications
- AHPRA registration
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists or equivalent
- Working with Children Check
- Probity checks (police check)
- Immunisation evidence or current status
- Credentialing and Scope of Practice process completion
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or equivalent
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Working with Children Check (VBHC)
- Current/immunisation proof
- Probity checks including police check and immunisation
- Clinical experience in Breast Imaging and Breast Interventional procedures
- Ability to read screening mammograms and perform associated procedures
- Experience contributing to quality review and accreditation
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with radiologist, surgeon, radiographer, nursing, pathology and GP teams
