Job Summary
Interventional Radiologist position at VA Long Beach Healthcare System combining 50% Interventional Radiology with 50% General Diagnostic Radiology in a collaborative imaging department of 18 radiologists (4 IR, 6 IR technologists, 7 IR RNs). responsibilities include image-guided interventions (e.g., Y-90 radioembolization, prostate artery embolization, endovascular management of PAD), spinal procedures, biopsies, drainages, and diagnostic imaging (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, body MRI). Participate in weekly vascular conference and tumor boards; work in inpatient and outpatient settings; academic affiliation with UC Irvine offering teaching opportunities. Must be a U.S. citizen with an active medical license and be board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. (LCME-accredited or AOA-accredited medical schools)
- Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state, territory, or D.C.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Completed Residency Training
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency not explicitly required beyond licensure
- Foreign medical graduates verified by ECFMG (if applicable)
- Recent or upcoming new grads welcomed
