Job Summary
Interventional Radiologist opportunity at VA Long Beach Healthcare System with a 50/50 mix of Interventional Radiology and General Diagnostic Radiology. Join a team of 18 radiologists (including 4 Interventional Radiologists) and 7 IR nurses in a fully equipped facility delivering image-guided interventions such as Y-90 radioembolization, prostate artery embolization, endovascular management of PAD, spinal procedures, biopsies, and drainages. Participate in weekly vascular, GU tumor, and liver/GI tumor boards and collaborate with oncology, surgery, and vascular medicine. Must be US citizen, MD or DO, with an unrestricted license; board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology; recent grads welcome. Academic affiliations with UC Irvine and teaching opportunities; 50% IR and 50% Diagnostic coverage in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Required Qualifications
- US citizenship
- MD or DO
- licensed to practice medicine in US
- board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- completed residency training
- eligible for EDRP (Education Debt Reduction Program) eligibility is a plus
