Job Summary
Radiologist responsible for performing and interpreting general and special diagnostic radiologic procedures including Mammography, CT, MRI, and ultrasonography; acts as lead interpreting physician for the FDA-approved mammography program at Oyáte Health Center; performs radiology exams, coordinates radiologic services with other medical activities, and provides counseling to patients about procedures, risks, and results; utilizes PACS/EHR for reporting, complies with HIPAA, and participates in clinic quality improvement activities; may serve as offsite teleradiologist for facilities lacking on-site radiologists; requires license, ABR certification, and ongoing credentialing and immunization requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree from an accredited medical school and successful completion of post graduate training in an approved residency program to practice medicine in the specialty field of Radiology.
- Certification from the American Board of Radiology (ABR) required.
- Must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice Medicine from any US State or Territory.
- Must obtain and maintain medical staff clinical privileges, including any licensure requirements.
- Current BLS certification, ALS certification, and PALS certification.
