Radiological Engineer

Job Summary
Respond to unscheduled service requests by performing initial problem verification, troubleshooting, and problem correction on general imaging modalities. Complete scheduled maintenance in accordance with the PM Inspection and Protocol management plan, initiating and documenting all repairs and maintenance activities. Attend service schools, in-house training, and self-directed study as required. Assist other technical positions in Clinical Engineering/Medical Physics and support medical equipment installations. Perform all other duties assigned during normal working hours and on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Graduate from an electronic technical school
- 1-3 years' experience performing direct repair and maintenance on medical equipment
- Must be available for on-call rotation
- Must comply with Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)
- Must comply with company's Code of Business Conduct
- Must adhere to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Associate's Degree in bio medical or electronic engineering
- Experience in working with radiological or ultrasound devices
