Job Summary
Deliver course lectures, facilitate labs, and administer pre/post-tests while creating lesson plans, exams, and projects. Prepare syllabi, coordinate materials with librarians, and maintain grade books. Monitor student progress, take daily attendance, and follow up with absentees via phone calls. Provide mid-term evaluations, submit weekly reports to the Dean, and record final grades. Enforce attendance policies, dress codes, and classroom rules. Maintain equipment and supplies, manage classroom space, and seek approved substitutes for absences. Participate in graduation ceremonies, faculty meetings, and retention planning committees.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in the field
- Must have Bachelor's Degree
- Licenses and/or certifications (ARRT)
- Must be able to communicate with coworkers
- Must be able to present to a classroom of students
- Must be able to demonstrate procedures and techniques
- Must be able to get to and from appropriate classes and offices
- Must be able to work in a professional office setting
- Must be able to work in a higher education teaching environment
