Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare rooms with necessary supplies while performing Medical Assistant duties. Greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide direction for treatment steps. Obtain vital signs, document history, and assist with patient transfers and procedures. Ensure equipment is in proper working order and follow quality control procedures. Maintain current licensure and certification for facility radiology equipment.
