Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist I performs radiographic procedures to obtain diagnostic-quality images, prioritizing patient safety per ALARA standards. Responsibilities include preparing patients, verifying identities, explaining procedures, adhering to infection control, maintaining imaging equipment, documenting in PACS, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Requires ARRT certification, state licensure as applicable, BCLS, 0-1 years of clinical radiologic experience, and proficiency with EHR/RIS. On-site Key West, FL role with full-time hours, evening/night shift, with rotating weekends/holidays; benefits include loan repayment options, sign-on bonus, and housing stipend eligibility. Required Qualifications
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification required
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required
- 0-1 years of clinical experience as a radiologic technologist required
- Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and radiology information systems (RIS)
- Strong knowledge of radiologic imaging techniques and radiation safety
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
