Job Summary
Diagnostic radiographic procedures performed in a fast-paced hospital setting. Maintains department policies, checks and ensures availability of radiography room supplies, develops radiographic films, ensures film quality, transports patients to radiographic rooms, and participates in ongoing professional development and departmental meetings. Requires high school diploma or GED; NM Radiography Tech qualifications with ARRT(R) eligibility and BLS certification; associate degree preferred; opportunity for tuition/certification reimbursement and loan forgiveness programs. Night/weekend differentials may apply; operates within EPIC system and adheres to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- NM Radiography Tech (RRT) or Temp NM Radiography Tech
- ARRT R.T.(R)
- BLS Certification
- Associate degree preferred
- one year to obtain ARRT certification
