Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Tech) at PM Pediatric Care in Clifton, NJ — full-time role in a pediatric urgent care setting. Responsible for obtaining medical history and vital signs, preparing patients for radiological procedures, capturing diagnostic radiographs, and maintaining radiology equipment. Supports radiology quality assurance, documents logs and exposures, assists with specimen collection and laboratory testing, and ensures HIPAA compliance. Collaborates with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the care team to deliver patient-centered imaging and related clinical support, including equipment maintenance, safety procedures, and providing education on proper use of DME and crutches when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from Radiologic Technologist program
- Knowledge of medical practice and terminology, clinic’s processes, and procedures
- Ability to use sound reasoning and judgment and act calmly in emergencies
- Knowledge of digital imaging
- Knowledge of electronic health records (eCW preferred)
