Job Summary
Performs radiographic examinations and maintains department quality assurance and safety standards. Checks and maintains radiography equipment, supplies, and room readiness; develops radiographic films and evaluates technical quality. Transports patients to radiographic rooms and back to care areas as needed; maintains cleanliness and order of work areas. Participates in ongoing professional development, attends meetings, and contributes to patient care and workflow efficiency using EPIC charting. Provides compassionate patient care and supports safety protocols, with opportunities for differential shifts and career growth.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- NM Radiography Tech (RRT) or Temp NM Radiography Tech
- Rad Tech-Radiography ARRT R.T.(R)
- BLS Certification is required at the time of hire
- Associate degree preferred
- Employee will have a period of 1 year to obtain ARRT certification
